The second day of Italy on Madison celebrates Italian cuisine in New York and transforms Madison Avenue’s Italian Townhouse into an immersive journey between tastings, culinary storytelling and contemporary lifestyle events.
The 14th May programme focuses on Italian food and wine heritage through experiences capable of recounting tradition, conviviviality and innovation in an international way.
From 10:00 to 16:00, the public will be able to access the activities and experiences spread within the townhouse, living a path that intertwines design, culture and food experience.
The morning opens with “Italian Breakfast”, scheduled from 10:00 to 12:00: a breakfast inspired by the Italian rituals of the morning, among curated tastings, audiovisual narratives and references to the tradition of Artusi. A moment designed to tell the cultural value of Italian conviviality through immersive flavors and storytelling.
From 12:00 to 14:00, space at “Italian Lunch”, experience dedicated to Italian cuisine with tastings and live narration. The protagonist of the scene will be the preparation of the pasta mantecata in the form of cheese, accompanied by “The Artusi Voice”, project that brings technique and gastronomic tradition in a contemporary performative dimension.
To close the day, from 18:00 to 21:30, the “Giallo Zafferano Social Aperitivo”, a dynamic event that celebrates Italian cuisine through a traveling route between theatrical preparations, iconic flavors and wine pairings.
