Herbs 1978 at Beauty Made in Italy in New York

On June 9, in the Financial District of Manhattan, Ernesi 1978 presented his products to Beauty Made in Italy, the exhibition dedicated to Italian cosmetics seeking space on the American market. The brand was at Convene One Liberty Plaza with its creams and serums, along with other Italian companies arriving in New York.

Ernesi 1978 is a brand of cosmetics born in the Marches, in San Benedetto del Tronto. To represent it was Miro Marcelli, who told to live in the United States for fifteen years. With Ernesi 1978, however, the American adventure is more recent, and began far from New York. “Ernesi 1978 began four years ago to explore the American market, and we started from the Midwest,” he explained. “Every time there is an important event in New York we are present, and we are flattered to represent Italian excellence”.

At the New York event the brand presented itself with its novelties. Among these a collagen to drink: “We are presenting the Collagen C Plus, the collagen that we drink, with the oligomineral water of the Sibillini Mountains,” said Marcelli, showing the product. It is one of the traits of the company, which binds its formulas to water and raw materials of the Marche region.

Besides the products there is also research. Marcelli announced the opening of a new laboratory in Italy: “On June 22nd we will inaugurate the Neuroscience Lab, always in the Marches, in Smerillo, in the province of Fermo”. A choice that, he explained, comes from the desire to tie even more the products to their land of origin. A land he holds in a special way. “They are places that, both in Italy and in the world, are very underestimated”, he observed. “And so there is an extra passion in trying to make them discover outside Italy”.

The Beauty Made in Italy, now in its seventh edition, is organized by ITA – Italian Trade Agency with Cosmetica Italia and the US partner Beauty Independent. New York day followed a simple pace: morning training, meetings with American buyers and customers in the afternoon.

The goal of Ernesi 1978 in New York is the same as the other Italian brands present: to convince the American public that Italian cosmetics has something to say, focusing on quality, research and bond with the territory. Marcelli tries us starting from a small province of Marche.
