Company recalls sesame candy because it contains undeclared peanuts

Dong Phuong Group Partnership is recalling Ocean Swallow brand Sesame Candy because it contains undeclared peanut.

People with sensitivities or allergies to peanuts could have serious or life threatening reactions if they consume this product.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the recalled candy was distributed to retailers in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.

There is concern that consumers may have unused portions of the candy in their homes because of its long shelf life. Consumers can use the following information to determine whether they have the recalled candy:

UPC 8 11517 00240 7

Lot No: D14-24 13420

Best Before: 2027 .MA. 28

Consumers are urged to not eat the recalled candy and to throw it away if they have sensitivity or allergies to peanuts.
