Exactly a week ago, last September 25, in the heart of Manhattan, the Italian community found itself to recognize itself, to tell and celebrate its roots. That moment was the New York Community Night, an intense and participatory evening where music, culture and social commitment intertwined with a choral tale of identity, connections and shared future.
The Community Night organized by IlNewyorkese has been able to combine culture, music and conviviality, creating a unique opportunity to gather friends and professionals in an evening full of music, culture and networking.
At 18:30 the evening came to life with the greetings of Mattia Iovane, Editorial Director of New York and founder Davide Ippolito, who introduced the program of the initiative underlining how music, culture and social commitment could meet at a common moment of sharing. Live performances soon took the center of the scene with the participation of Cristiano Cosa, Apulian singer who returned to New York to present his new album “What I am”, produced by LuckyHorn Entertainment. The artist told a path of introspection, where philosophy and personal research intertwine, offering the public a sincere dialogue on the sense of their work and the need to remain authentic. Cristiano has alternated pieces of the new album already known, transforming the room into a place of active participation and great entertainment.
Pasquale Antonio Riccio, President of Campus Salute e Progetto Alfa, who presented for the first time in New York the initiative dedicated to health prevention, illustrated how the project, conceived with the collaboration of Prof. Annamaria Colao, founder of Campus Salute and Vice President of the Higher Council of Health, has a great impact on the territory combining free check-ups, meetings with Italian doctors and promoting healthy lifestyles among new generations and healthy families. Davide Ippolito stressed the importance of joining culture and social commitment, highlighting how such initiatives can have a concrete and lasting impact on the community.
The event continued with moments of conviviality and networking, during which guests were able to taste wines selected by Vias Wine Imports and taste the homemade ice cream of Patrizia Pasqualetti, already known for its collaborations with Eataly in the United States, which offered an authentic experience of Italian ice cream.
The Community Night was a unique opportunity to combine culture, music and social commitment, creating spaces for meeting and confrontation for the Italian community in New York. Among live performances, presentations of new projects and networking moments, participants were able to strengthen ties, share experiences and consolidate professional relationships and friendship, confirming how active participation and community itself are fundamental to weaving lasting relationships.
