Italian chefs and design made in Italy together for disadvantaged children and communities

On October 23, at 6 p.m., the Ceccotti Collezioni showroom in Madison Avenue will host a charity event dedicated to the Dominican Joe Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting educational and development programs for children and disadvantaged communities. The initiative aims to raise funds to ensure “land, education and a better future”, as the motto chosen for the evening states.

The event is promoted by Poltrona Frau, a historic Italian brand of furniture founded in 1912, which has long been active in cultural projects and social responsibility. The event is part of the foundation’s activities aimed at strengthening its international collaborations and involving the New York public in awareness campaigns through convivivial experiences and networking.

During the evening there are cocktails, champagne and tastings curated by a group of guest chefs. Among the confirmed names include Teresa and Simone Bertini, Bilena Settepani, Roberto Caporuscio, Damiano Rosella and Matthew Wasson, representatives of different Italian and international culinary traditions.

The location chosen, Ceccotti Collezioni, is part of the network of Italian high design brands present in New York, a reference point for architects, designers and contemporary furniture lovers. Madison Avenue showroom spaces are often used for cultural and charitable events related to art, design and social commitment.

Tickets and information on the initiative are available on the official website of the foundation that illustrates the active projects and the destinations of the funds collected. The organization promotes educational and micro-development programs in the most vulnerable areas of the Dominican Republic, with the stated goal of creating “brighter tomorrows” through access to education and resources of
