Venchi has officially opened its first airport retail outlet in the UK, launching at London Gatwick’s North Terminal. The store, located airside after security in the departures lounge, targets the peak Christmas travel period with a curated selection of festive treats.
Founded in 1878, Venchi brings more than 145 years of Italian expertise in chocolate-making, combining tradition with natural, high-quality ingredients. The brand is internationally recognized for its artisanal chocolates and creamy gelato, both central to the Gatwick offer.
Passengers passing through the North Terminal can choose from more than 20 flavours of authentic Italian gelato, freshly made each day in the store’s in-house laboratory. The range is complemented by hot chocolate, gelato milkshakes, and gourmet coffee, positioning the outlet as both a retail and indulgence destination before departure.
Inside the store, customers are welcomed by Venchi’s iconic chocolate bar wall, alongside a display of handcrafted Brutto & Buono bars, and a full assortment of seasonal gift collections. A dedicated My Venchi Mix station allows travellers to personalise their own box of chocolates, selecting from over 40 varieties, including Chocoviar, Gianduiotto, and Cremino—options designed for Christmas gifting or an in-flight treat.
