In Cesena an event to fight gender violence

LIMO APS and Apeiron ODV present “Infuse Words”, a multisensory event between music and poetry dedicated to the contrast of violence on women, which will be held on 20 December at 18:00 at the headquarters of Porta Santi, in Corso Ubaldo Comandini in Cesena. The protagonists of the evening will be the poet and Dr. Yuleisy Cruz Lezcano, musician Michele La Paglia and poet Lorenzo Scarponi, who will interpret a monologue written by Yuleisy Cruz Lezcano.

The initiative includes the presentation of the book “Other voice will be fear”, published by Leonida Edizioni, through the integrated use of the poetic word and music at 432 Hz, creating a sensory experience capable of involving body, mind and emotions of participants. The event aims to raise awareness on the phenomenon of gender violence, promoting awareness, empathy and critical reflection on relational models, through readings, music and direct interaction with the public.

The methodology adopted enhances poetry as an instrument of listening and understanding emotions, while music accompanies the sensory path, stimulating a deeper and more participatory perception of the message. The initiative is part of the project “Beyond the Common Places: new words and actions against stereotypes and gender violence” by Apeiron ODV, co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region, with the support of the Volcanoic Bando of the Union of Municipal Savio Valley.

The appointment is free open to all from 14 years and offers a unique opportunity to confront, listen and actively participate in the construction of a culture of respect and gender equality.
