Ferrero has reached a major global milestone by inaugurating a new production line dedicated to Ferrero Rocher Squares in Brantford, Ontario, reinforcing the strategic importance of North America in the group’s industrial and growth plans.
“We’re excited to celebrate the opening of our new Ferrero Rocher chocolate squares production line in Ontario, Canada – a significant step forward in our ambition to bring even more innovation and joy to consumers around the world,” the company said. “From the energy of the celebration to the moment the new line started rolling, it was an important milestone for our global Ferrero family.”
The investment, exceeding €277 million, confirms Ferrero’s long-term commitment to Canada and to the broader North American market, which has become increasingly central to the Italian confectionery group’s global strategy. According to the company, the project also reflects its focus on people and communities.

The new line is dedicated to Ferrero Rocher Squares, a new format of the brand’s iconic chocolate. Notably, this marks the first time a product developed in Alba, Italy, Ferrero’s historic home, has been launched in Canada for global distribution.
