Authorities in Hong Kong received 44 complaints in the past three years relating to food products bought online.
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) received 22 complaints in 2023 and 11 each in 2024 and 2025 involving restricted food on local e-commerce shopping platforms.
