On the occasion of the Italian Language Week in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute in New York is pleased to host singer and composer Chiara Izzi for a special concert entitled “Hits on a Journey”, scheduled on Friday, October 17 at 18:30.
The concert is a musical journey between Italy and the United States, which pays tribute to the 1950s and 1960s, a period in which the great American successes were reinterpreted in Italian versions become unforgettable. The repertoire includes songs like “I’m a Believer” / “Bugiarda”, “Lonely Town” / “Città Vuota”, and other classics, reinterpreted with a jazz touch and enriched with stories and anecdotes related to songs.
