Notifications concerning non-compliant food and drinks rose in Europe in the final quarter of 2025, meaning that alerts over the whole year increased slightly compared to 2024.
In the fourth quarter of 2025 (Q4) recalls and alerts in the sector went up by 18 percent, according to Sedgwick’s European Product Safety and Recall Index.
