In New York on Columbus Day, the prestigious award for Italian excellence and opera stars

The winners of the Caruso Tribute Prize 2025 flew to New York, at the fifth edition, assigned on the occasion of the Columbus Day on October 12, which ended with a Gala at the Italian American Museum, with great public success.

Among the Italian excellences of the culture awarded this year are the soprano Katia Ricciarelli, the entrepreneur Santo Versace, the tenors Alessandro Lora and Nicola Pisaniello, Joseph Scelsa (Italian American Museum), Silvana Mangione (CGIE) Enrico Zanon, Federica Raimo, Germana Valentini, Ornella Fado, Francesca Pascale, the lawyers Elia Alaia and Licia Casaburo. Madrina of the award was Veronica Maya, accompanied by journalist, writer and opinionist Nicola Santini.

In the presence of guests, Chiara Cremaschi, Alessandro Marini, Amalia, journalist Krysia Lenzo, Rosario Procino, Chef Cozzolino, Joe Ciampa, Dario Mariti. A special mention to the cultural promoter Laura Valente, next Callas Award 2026.

The international award, now in its fifth edition, was conceived by Dante Mariti, produced by Melos International and supported by the Chamber of Deputies. “The Caruso Tribute – said Dante Mariti at the edge of the ceremony – unites Italy and the United States, two nations that appreciate the talents of opera, entrepreneurship, science, art and social”.
