Rollers Frulli lands in New York: a musical bridge between Italy and the United States

From 21 to 26 September, the project Rulli Frulli will fly to New York to present its educational and musical initiatives at the Italian School Guglielmo Marconi in Manhattan and the local Italian community.

In this week of cultural exchange, the initiative will see the participation of Rulli Frulli, represented by their founder Federico Alberghini and co-founder Marco Golinelli, who will lead a musical workshop with the students of the Marconi school, led by Principal Michael Cascianelli. The event will culminate in a final exhibition that will show the operation of the Rulli Frulli method.

Patrizia Cappelletti of the ARC Research Centre of the Catholic University of Milan will illustrate to the teachers of the Marconi school the method of teaching Rulli Frulli, studied and systematized by the same with the support of Davide Lampugnani. In addition, Diego Gavioli, co-regist (together with Gianluca Marcon) of the docufilm “Il Faro – The Fantastic Journey of the Frulli Rocks Band”, will share with the public the history of the Frulli Rulli Band and its social, cultural and generative impact.

This event represents a unique opportunity of exchange and growth, strengthening the links between the two shores of the Atlantic and spreading music as an instrument of inclusion.

The Rotary Club, Aramini Tools and the manufacturer of Lantec wands, intervened actively in partneship with the Rulli Frulli project, giving an indispensable support to realize this unprecedented teaching expedition.
