On the occasion of the National Month of the Italo-American Heritage, on 29 October 2025, the third edition of the B2B Dolce & Salato Fest event was held in Soho, offering participants the opportunity to witness the live demonstrations of the most famous Italian chefs and restaurateurs in New York. The expected annual event offered visitors and exhibitors an effective platform to get in touch with renowned chefs, restaurateurs, pastries, buyers and decision makers in the catering sector who wanted to know the latest news of the Italian gastronomic scene in New York.
The festival, founded by Sabrina Mancin and organized in collaboration with Modalita, a company based in Brooklyn specializing in food service, has been a platform of excellence for everything that is Made in Italy in the United States combining tradition and innovation.
The Dolce & Salato Fest has joined and celebrated the treasures of Italian cuisine — pizza, pasta, panettone and ice cream where visitors could explore the latest trends in the sector, consulting services and the possibility to confront experts in the sector.
The chefs who gave their interpretation of the four Italian products to a specialized audience and fans, were, Chef Luca Cascella with the brioches, Chef Raffaele Volpe (San Matteo) with Neapolitan pizza, Chef Massimo Laveglia and Nick Baglivo (L’Industrie) with Pizza NY style, Chef Silvia Barban (LaRina) with Agnolotti and Plincco, Chef Ciropole Lovine (Song and Pasqua.

In the last three years, the event has brought together the best Italian chefs in New York, together with master pastry chefs, pizza makers, bartenders, ice cream shops and sommeliers, alongside the most advanced technologies and modern equipment.
The performances on the Culinary Stage of the Dolce & Salato Fest were conducted by the Master of Ceremonies Amy Riolo, award-winning chef, author of 22 books and awarded the title of Dama of the Order of the Star of Italy.
According to Marco Cattaneo, co-founder and organizer of the event and National Sales & Project Manager in Modalita, D&SF has become “a network of great value where chefs and entrepreneurs can exchange ideas, skills and create new partnerships.”
Gianluca Rivizzigno, Head of Mode, added: “In particular, we want to help other visionaries who share our Italian roots to achieve commercial success, promoting the culinary excellence of Italy in the world.” The Dolce & Salato Fest has been an important opportunity to connect with a community united by the same passion for quality and Made in Italy.
