Yesterday Thursday, November 06, 2025, at 09.30, at the “Holy Family Church” in Manhattan, New York, on the occasion of the day of the National Unity and the Armed Forces, the Holy Mass was celebrated in honor of the Italian fallen and the Italian Armed Forces.
To the religious function, which was officiated by Don Luigi Portarulo, Chaplain Collaborator for all the military in service in New York, took part in the Military and the Police Advisers of different member states of the United Nations, the Vice Permanent Representative of Italy at the United Nations, Ambassador Gianluca Greco, Italian officials serving at the United Nations in New York, and Civil Authorities.
At the end of the celebration, the General of Division of the Carabinieri Alfonso Manzo, Deputy for Defense and Military Councillor at the Permanent Representation of Italy at the United Nations, took the floor to thank all the participants, to remember the events that made the day of November 4 particularly significant and to commemorate all the fallen.
The Military Office then offered a sober refreshment to all respondents.
